Ernie Shakesby has been the Welfare Officer for the Hull Royal Engineers Association (Hull REA) for a number of years, he and another member of the club have been in the position for a number of years.

Welfare Officer for Hull Royal Engineers Association (Hull REA) and also Vice President for the past 3 years. In March 2019 I became President of Hull REA for 3 years, after 3 years then Vice President is due to take over.
